Functional To-Do List
Unlike most to-do lists out there, this "functional" to-do list created by Personal Effectiveness Expert Tristan Loo is designed to work for your daily life. Fill out your functional to-do list by following these guidelines: 1) fill in the top very top area with the title of the to-do list (i.e. company, personal, project, etc.). Put the date on there as well. 2) Fill in all your appointments during the day that you have committed yourself to. 3) Fill in the life roles area with all the major important categories of your life that you need to focus on that day (i.e. career, husband, friend, parent, charity, myself, etc.). Remember that your life roles are the many hats that you wear that define who you are. 4) Fill in the tasks area with only the top 3-4 most important things that you should be doing per life role for that day. 5) Commit yourself towards fulfilling those activities during the course of the day. The number of to-do's per day is intentionally a small amount to ensure that they get done.
